Our friends at the American Dental Association discovered that a person's smile was important than their eyes, hair and body as the most important physical feature. After all, there's a big reason why Americans spend as much as they do each year on general and cosmetic dentistry each year: people want to look (and feel) great.
That brings us to June, also known as National Smile Month. It's a great time for Dr. Blourchian to remind all of our patients to practice good oral hygiene between your visits to New Image Dentistry.
Here are a few simple steps you can take to improve your oral health so that you may celebrate National Smile Month for many, many years:
* Brush at least twice a day with fluoride toothpaste.
* Floss everyday to clean between your teeth.
* Reduce your intake of sugary foods and drinks.
* Visit Dr. Blourchian regularly (usually every six months).
If you have questions about any of these tips, we encourage you to give us a call at (615) 591-4490. We hope you have a great weekend! Now get out there and share your smiles with Nashville!

My Dentist in St. Petersburg, Florida also supported the National Smile Month. He always makes sure that every patient that leaves their clinic leaves with a smile on their face, even when they've had a surgery for dental implants. St. Petersburg dentists all had posters promoting the National Smile Month. I hope everyone would join in promoting this, too. Even when it's not National Smile Month, we must all support good oral health!
